65. To approve and confirm the minutes of the meeting
held on 14 November 2017 – The minutes were agreed
as accurate and signed by the Chair of the meeting.

a. Trees at roadside near the junction to Guyzance
Memorial – The Clerk informed that the works were
pending with the NCC Tree Officer, the lack of action
taken in two years would be referred to County
Councillor to progress.
b. Memorial bench installation – The bench was
with Councillor Newton ready for installation but
pending suitable ground conditions.
c. NALC webpage for Parish Council – the webpage
continued to be populated with information.
d. Play area repairs and maintenance – Cllr
Barras offered to help Cllr Newton with remedial repairs

Councillor Watson informed that the despite all doing
their best with regards to the proposed closure of the

Following discussion it was resolved that Acklington
Parish Council apply to Northumberland County Council to
designate the civil parish of Acklington as a
neighbourhood area, with the express purpose of
preparing a neighbourhood development plan.
72.3:To consider budget 2018-19 – Following
consideration of the draft budget, Members agreed to
levy the recommended precept of £6,200 on Northumberland
County Council for the Financial Year 2018/19.

Jan - 11am – The organisers would be informed of a
planned road closure at this date.
