An absolutely fantastic portrayal by Northumberland Theatre Company of one of  Shakespeare's more memorable plays held in Acklington Village Hall.  Despite it being a very wet night on Thursday 20th September 2012 - 41 people from the village and surrounding areas were in for a real treat.  The five actors/actresses were brilliant not only with their acting skills but also their singing and ad-libbing.  The stage and scenery were magical to say the least and it was amazing how much could be fitted into the hall plus an audience without feeling over-crowded. The audience all had a thoroughly good time and sides were aching from laughter by the end.  A real credit to Northumberland Theatre Company.  The actors themselves said they received a raucous reception and they loved it.
Photographs were not permitted to be taken during the show but the two below give a flavour of the evening.
